A perfect ‘land-race’ strain whose genetics have been incorporated into many popular hybrids, and are now available through us in Regular only form. Durban Marijuana is a deciduous plant that produces separate male and females. While the female’s flower and produce buds, the male’s role is to create pollen to fertilize the female flowers, producing seeds for the following year. On average, a packet of Durban Poison seeds will produce 50% females and 50% female plants.

Strong, thick stems and branches produce large, swollen buds with long slender leaves, all of which are generously coated in thick, rich resin as maturity approaches.

The general characteristics and flowering phase of Durban Poison plants are capable of producing very tall, bushy plants with heavy individual plant yields when grown outdoors. However, they are not as easy to grow indoors, even with a purpose built growing area. The mix of male and female plants make Screen-of-Green growing methods impossible, and the plants grow and stretch are far too tall for the Sea-of-Green technique. For these reasons, indoor yields will be severely reduced, amounting to approximately 350 grams of dried, high quality buds per square meter.
