A relatively new strain, Gelato was created by crossing Sunset Sherbet with Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies. The results produced a balanced variety, 55% Indica, 45% Sativa. Expect large leaves, strong, close branches and a multitude of future budding sites from these high-quality plants. The vegetative period of between 4 – 8 weeks is the perfect time to produce a thick, even canopy. Reducing the light-hours to the standard 12/12, on-off, will force the plants to begin flowering.
