OG Kush Marijuana Seeds Growing Review.
OG Kush marijuana seeds are a classic, all-American strain. Derived from the infamous Chemdawg variety, the feminized seeds produce stable, fairly easy-to-grow plants, adapting to both indoor and outdoor cultivation techniques. A great choice for growers with a little experience, producing large, dense buds and generous, per-plant harvests.
For the majority of growers, indoor cultivation techniques provide the best quality buds. Greater environmental control can provide the perfect conditions for the plants to flourish. Given an average vegetative cycle of between 4 – 8 weeks, the plants have a squat, bushy appearance, with thick stems, strong branches and multiple budding sites.
Flowering begins once the light-hours are reduced to the standard 12/12 ratio. Ensure the plants have adequate air-flow to reduce mold issues, as well as improving potential yields with advanced growing techniques. A favorite with Sea-of-Green growers, its dense shape and strong branches, can quickly form a thick, even canopy across the growing area.
Flowering times average between 8 – 9 weeks, generating up to 16-ounces per square meter, given ideal conditions. Outdoor growers in warm, southern states, can expect to generate up to 16-ounces per-plant, with harvests around early, to mid-October. Not the easiest strain to perfect, but well-worth the extra effort.
